John & Nancy's 25th Anniversary Trip to Reno

	A brief stop at Burney Falls State Park in Northern California on the way there.  This picture was taken from an upper viewpoint.  Pictures don't do this breathtaking view justice!!

	The dry peak of summertime Mt Lassen.  We are at 8100 foot elevation here.  It was 80+ degrees even at this level and we weren't adventurous enough to take the hike to the top!
	Emerald Cove at Lake Tahoe.  We began our trek around the lake on the northern end, continuing south on the California side.  This picture was taken from the side of the road; the official viewpoints we stopped at weren't nearly as spectacular.

	Harvey's in Lake Tahoe.  California's portion of South Lake Tahoe is on one side of the street with quaint motels and ski-town charm; the other side of the street is Nevada, with towering, glitzy casinos.  We stayed in a rustic motel in California called Beachside Inn.
	The sun as seen from our 18th floor room at Harrah's through smoke of a forest fire.  Although you can't really tell from this picture, the sun itself shown a brilliant red.  This was the worst day, although most days were somewhat smoky.

	The motel we stayed in 25 years ago.  At that time it was the Broadview.
	This is the historic county courthouse where we went to get our marriage license.  We paid $19 for an after-hours license 25 years ago.  Now you'll pay $50 during regular business hours.
	Here's the line.  Not much more time to back out!!!
	Walking across the street from the Court House to the Wedding Chapel.  It's name was just recently changed from Starlite Chapel to Heart of Reno.  We were told it will be torn down within the next year.
	Nancy much more relaxed than she was when nervously waiting on the bench to get married 25 years ago.  This time she has a copy of our marriage certificate in hand!
